1. What is an acquiring agreement?
There are many different acquirers on the market, acting as the link that enables you to process card payments in your webshop. Pricing can often seem complex as it is regulated by international organizations like Visa and Mastercard.
When choosing a payment solution, it is important to focus on the acquiring price, as this typically constitutes the largest part of your costs.
2. Great prices through Clearhaus
At pensopay, we use Clearhaus as our primary acquiring bank. This means that an agreement with them is generally included as a standard part of your solution with us. We want to be 100% transparent about your costs, so you always know what you are paying for.
3. Overview of acquiring prices
Below you can see the standard rates for acquiring through our partner:

4. Other fees you should know (DKK & EUR)
In addition to the acquiring percentage, there are some minor fees associated with the transactions:

3D Secure fee: 0.30 DKK / €0.04

Authorization fee: 0.22 DKK / €0.03 (applies to all transactions)

Refund fee: 1.75 DKK / €0.25

Exchange fee: 0.90%

Late capture fee: 0.34% (if more than 7 days pass from authorization to capture)

Chargeback fee: 240 DKK / €35

Although Clearhaus is our primary partner, we also support other acquiring banks. You can see the list of alternative options here.
